The Experience

Safari first, lake second, with your own vehicle and a Malawian driver-guide the whole way. Cross from Lilongwe into Zambia for three nights at South Luangwa, one of Africa's finest wildlife parks and the birthplace of the walking safari, with game drives for lion, leopard, elephant, giraffe and hippo. Then return to Malawi for a guided tour of Lilongwe and four relaxed nights at Cape Maclear on Lake Malawi, a UNESCO World Heritage site: snorkel among colourful cichlid fish, boat out to the islands, walk through the fishing village and watch fish eagles on a sunset cruise. Fully private, so the pace is yours. Lodges, all meals, park fees in both countries, border help and airport transfers are included.
