Hich connects you with independent local operators. Here is what we verify, how your money is protected, and what to do if something goes wrong.
How we vet operators
- Every Hich-hosted operator goes through onboarding before their listings go live: we collect their business identity, contact details, and bank account (verified at payout), and review their listings before publishing.
- Partner listings (Viator, Headout) are verified by the partner and booked on their site.
- The operator running each experience is named on the listing detail page — you always know who you’re booking with.
- Operators who generate repeated complaints, misrepresent their listings, or ask travellers to pay off-platform are removed.
How your payment is protected
- All payments on Hich are processed by Razorpay, an RBI-regulated payment aggregator. Hich never stores your card details.
- Never pay an operator by direct bank transfer or a personal UPI ID. If anyone claiming to represent Hich or an operator asks you to pay outside the Razorpay checkout, don’t — and report it to us. Off-platform payments are not protected by our refund policy.
- After payment you receive a booking confirmation on WhatsApp with pickup and operator details, normally within 2 hours.
Safety on experiences
Adventure activities (treks, water sports, camping) are delivered by the operator, who is responsible for equipment, guides, and local permits. Requirements like fitness level, age limits, and what to carry are shown on the listing — read them before booking. If conditions on the day are unsafe (weather, water levels), operators may reschedule or cancel; our refund policy covers operator-initiated cancellations.
Report a problem
If an experience was misrepresented, an operator asked you to pay off-platform, or anything felt unsafe, contact us and we’ll investigate:

We aim to acknowledge every report within one business day.
