Ait Ben Haddou / Ouarzazate - Day trip from Marrakech

In the province of Ouarzazate 190kms, south of Marrakech, stands the sumptuous Kasbah (fortified village) of Ait Benhaddou, ancient fortress and caravanserai, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is certainly, to this day, one of the most beautiful sites in Morocco ... In this natural and extraordinary setting of entanglement of crenellated towers and adobe constructions, it was made of many films (the famous "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Gladiator"). The visit to the Kasbah will take place after the crossing of the imposing chain of the High Atlas by the collar of Tizi n'tichka (2600m) and its vertiginous points of view and its picturesque Berber villages.
