Daily sea lion demonstrations: Watch natural behaviours and learn about training and enrichment from the animal care team. Walk-through habitats: Step into lemur, wallaby, and bird zones for closer encounters, guided viewing, and great photo opportunities. Dinosaur exhibit: Explore a prehistoric-themed area bringing ancient life to the present, designed for engaging family-friendly discovery. Diverse species: Meet a wide range of animals including big cats, red pandas, penguins and many more across clearly signposted trails.

What’s not allowed Large suitcases and oversized baggage are not permitted inside the zoo. Accessibility Blackpool Zoo is fully wheelchair accessible. However, the zoo features mixed terrain, including tarmac, concrete, brick, tile, dirt paths, and aggregate surfaces. Accessible toilets are available at every toilet block. All public buildings offer at least one wheelchair-accessible entrance. Service animals are not allowed inside Blackpool Zoo. Subject to availability, trained assistance dogs can be looked after by staff if arranged in advance. To arrange this, email [email protected] or call 01253 830830 for more information. Additional information Last entry is 45 minutes before closing. The zoo opens daily at 10am, though closing times may vary seasonally. One free carer ticket is available per paying visitor with a disability (valid proof required on arrival). Parking is not included and costs GBP 4.50 per day. Guests who have not downloaded tickets in advance may be refused entry due to limited on-site Wi-Fi.
