The Experience

Your experience Step into Chambord, a masterpiece of French Renaissance architecture. Explore its grand halls, marvel at its intricate towers, and walk through its sprawling parkland. Getting started Arrive at the Chambord Castle and head straight to the entrance after security checks. Your ticket skips the long ticket office lines but note that standard security screenings still apply. Have your ID ready for validation, then pick up a free visitor’s guide or watch a 20-minute film to set the scene for your visit. What to expect Chambord is the Loire Valley’s largest chateau, built by François I as a symbol of power and heavily inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s vision. Features Double-helix staircase – A genius design where two people can use the staircase without ever crossing paths. 400 rooms, 365 fireplaces, 80+ staircases – A grand display of opulence and royal ambition. Panoramic terraces – Stunning views of the chateau’s architecture and the vast park. 5,000-hectare park – One of Europe’s largest enclosed forests, home to diverse wildlife. Temporary exhibitions – Access to rotating cultural displays is included in your ticket.
