Railway maintenance : Takachiho Scenic Railway closes for maintenance on the 3rd Thursday of each month in 2026. Itinerary adjustment : When the railway is closed, the itinerary will be adjusted to visit Takachiho Shrine instead. Child tickets : Paid attraction tickets are not included for children aged 0 to 3 years.
