The Experience

The island of Fogo, the very natural and very contrasting, is ideal for hiking. During this hike, expect a change of scenery, varied and beautiful natural landscapes. The hike from Chã das Caldeiras reveals life in the giant crater, its villagers and its ecosystem. Then you will enter the forest park Monte Velha until you reach the heights of Ribeira Filipe on the western part of the island.
