The Experience

The famous film by Francis Ford Coppola contains many scenes filmed in Savoca and Forza d’Agrò, two lovely villages located very close to Taormina, where it is still possible to recognize the places of don Vito Corleone. Your driver will meet you at your accommodation at your most preferred time and drive you to Forza d’Agrò, a small medieval fortress village perched on a hill at about 420 meters above the Ionian sea in Sicily, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Afterwards, you will reach Savoca, a charming medieval village, set in the rock of a hill. You will walk along the typical medieval streets and you will reach the Church of Santa Lucia, where the wedding scene between Michal and Apollonia was filmed. Unmissable stop at Bar Vitelli, where time seems to have stopped years ago.
