Know before you go What to bring Wear comfortable, non-slip footwear suitable for walking on wet and uneven surfaces. Dress in weather-appropriate clothing, as you will be exposed to mist and changing outdoor conditions throughout the tour. Bring a waterproof case or protective cover for phones, cameras, and other electronic devices. Carry any personal items you may need, including medications and a refillable water bottle. A camera is recommended to capture the incredible views from the boat, Hurricane Deck, and scenic overlooks. What's not allowed Large suitcases, oversized bags, and bulky personal items are not permitted. Alcohol, illegal substances, and intoxicated behavior are prohibited. Drones are not allowed within Niagara Falls State Park or at any tour attractions. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated areas. Accessibility Due to stairs, wet walkways, and uneven terrain, this tour is not fully wheelchair accessible. Guests should be prepared for a moderate amount of walking and standing during the experience. Access to Cave of the Winds involves an elevator ride into the Niagara Gorge and walking along wooden platforms. Guests with mobility limitations should contact the tour operator before booking to determine whether the tour is suitable for their needs. Additional information This experience takes place entirely on the US side of Niagara Falls and does not cross into Canada. A passport or visa is not required for participation in this tour. Maid of the Mist is a seasonal attraction and generally operates from May through November. During periods when it is unavailable, a substitute attraction may be offered. Complimentary ponchos are included for both the Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds experiences. Guests must make their own way to the designated meeting point, as hotel transfers are not included. Attraction order, tour duration, and departure times may vary depending on weather, operational requirements, and visitor volumes. At the end of the guided tour, guests may either continue exploring Niagara Falls State Park independently or use the available return transportation.
