Private Full Day Tour to Meteora from Volos
The Experience
This wonder of nature would be worth visiting just for the picturesque landscape even if the monasteries weren't there. The thing is that they are. The old Greek Monasteries blend in perfectly with the surrounding environment creating a once in a lifetime sensation. It is my most popular tour(more than 100 times a year)and there is a good reason for that. During the ride I will explain a lot about geology, history, orthodox religion, and the impact Meteora has had on Greece over the centuries. We will also talk about Greece and the Greek way of life.
