The Experience
In the summer of 79 AD.C. Pompeii was entirely covered by a sudden rain of ash and volcanic fallout (it was not lava, as is often said) that formed a layer of over 3 meters, which crystallized the city, preserving it for centuries. In the area of archaeological excavations the ancient city, buried by the eruption of Vesuvius, was entirely unearthed. The site of the ancient ruins of Pompeii is incredibly vast and exciting. This tour takes you through the beauties of ancient history, the baths, villas, temples, the monumental necropolis. It is a real time travel, wonderful and surprising. After visiting the ruins of Pompeii, we will reach the Vesuvius National Park, at 1000 meters above sea level. We will take a walk to the top of the only active volcano in continental Europe. We will take a walk around the crater, see the wonders of this place, which has been declared a "World Biosphere Reserve" by UNESCO.
