Set in Ohoheriki forest, this award-winning experience will take you on a 1.5-hour journey on a series of ziplines that wind through towering trees and lush greenery. The experience starts at the base with a safety briefing and getting strapped into the equipment. Once done, you hop onto a minivan for a 15-minute drive to the first where the experience will take place. Then, you walk for 300 meters before you reach the initial platform from where the adventure begins. Zipping through! The tour includes six ziplines with the longest zipline stretching up to 220 meters, allowing you to soar high above the forest floor at 50 km/hr, providing a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of this pristine environment. Alongside ziplining, you will also get to walk on swing bridges and elevated platforms and feed some native birds, pausing to enjoy panoramic views of the forest and listen to fascinating stories about the region’s natural history shared by your two knowledgeable guides. So, this experience is restricted for guests over the weight of 120kg. The original canopy tour is restricted for guests under 6 years of age while the ultimate canopy tour is restricted for guests under 10 years of age. Accessibility Your safety comes first. So, pregnant women are restricted from participating in this experience. Additional information Facilities: Baggage storage. Children under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult of 16 years or above. Guests bringing their camera are recommended to attach it to a strap, helmet mount/ head strap, wrist mount, or selfie stick to ensure it doesn’t fall off. Guests are required to disclose any medical conditions or concerns to the staff, fill out a pre-tour check form, and get their weight checked to ensure they have a safe trip.
