The boots must have good ankle support and sturdy soles so that crampons can be securely attached. If you do not have suitable hiking boots, rentals are available on site for €13 per pair. Please note that sneakers, running shoes, or soft footwear are not suitable for glacier hiking. Wearing proper boots is essential for participating in the activity safely. The minimum age is provided as a guideline. Anyone with a minimum shoe size of EU 34 can safely participate in the glacier trek. On some departures, the tour may be led by a guide who speaks two languages, making the tour bilingual.
