The Palace draws many visitors and is the second most visited monument after the Taj in India! Srirangapatna – An ancient holy city that also saw rise and fall of empires and served as a capital for the Mysore Empire until the English set in. Today, a sleepy hamlet, that tells the tales of yore with the still intact forts, Summer Palaces set amidst beautiful Cauvery River that is also home to the ancient Ranganatha temple that lends it name to the city.
