What to expect SUNQ Pass The SUNQ Pass is a regional transport ticket offering unlimited rides on express and local buses. Features Bus network coverage: Use the pass across approximately 2,400 bus routes covering Northern Kyushu, Shimonoseki, and Nagato. Ferry routes : The pass also includes access to five ferry routes within the SUNQ Pass network. Flexible usage: Choose between passes allowing two travel days within three days or three travel days within five days. Express bus reservations: Some express buses require reservations through the official SUNQ Pass reservation website. Upgrades Choose a longer travel option with the 3-day pass usable within a five-day period.

Express bus reservations must be made through the SUNQ Pass website. Voucher valid for three months from purchase; unused tickets cancellable with ¥110 fee. From Jul 1, 2025 the pass cannot be used on the Fukuoka–Nagato Yumoto Onsen bus.
