Iceland is the only place on earth where it is possible to combine these fantastic tours; a hike to a live volcanic eruption and an evening aurora hunting tour. Your day starts in the late morning by joining our tour to eruption site at Meradalir. This involves a 1.5-2 hour hike each way over uneven terrain and would be considered of moderate difficulty to the average, reasonably fit person. Enjoy the spectacle as thousands of cubic meters of piping hot magma erupts from the volcanoes core.
